2009 TLAC Series comes to close
by admin on Nov.25, 2009, under NEWS
Hello everyone,
Sorry for the extremely late news concerning the final TLAC event, I had a family emergency on Friday that lasted through Monday of this week!
The TLAC Board has decided that the 2009 TLAC Series will end with 3 events, there will be no 4th event, the Pro, Ladies and Formula Junior Challenges will be reduced to a best 2 out of 3 events. RRR Region will retain their club and individual member points in the series based on good faith that they did their best to obtain a suitable site to hold their event. The points will be re-calculated as stated above. The Club, Challenge and Class Champions trophy winners will be named. It was a tough decision for the board to make, but majority vote was to end their year as stated and regroup and plan for next year as soon as possible.
An announcement will be made before the end of the year for the 2010 TLAC planning meeting to discuss the preceding rules and proposed rule changes for the next racing season. As always all TLAC participants are encouraged to attend the meeting to support their representatives.
Thanks to all the club members that competed and volunteered this year to make TLAC the best it could be. Without you and others, this series is nothing!
Thank You for reading this post and have a great day!

Jeff Schaadt has locked in the 2009 PRO Challenge Championship with a total after 3 events of 299.672. Connie Booker is in the lead of the 2009 Ladies Challenge, however, Jean Schaadt or Roberta Wetzel could win it with a good showing at TLAC 4.
